Ecological Design in a Nutshell

Ecological design is an approach that integrates natural processes and patterns to create functional and sustainable solutions. It emphasizes harmony with the environment, biodiversity enhancement, and closed-loop systems to minimize waste. By drawing from nature's principles, ecological design aims to heal and regenerate landscapes while increasing the carrying capacity and providing for human needs.

Nature Based Solutions

Nature-based solutions are strategies that utilize the inherent properties of natural ecosystems to address environmental challenges. These solutions harness the benefits of biodiversity, soil health, water systems, and other ecosystem functions to provide sustainable and effective means of tackling issues like climate change, urbanization, and habitat degradation. By working with nature, they offer cost-efficient and resilient approaches for promoting both human well-being and environmental health.
